How to Replace a Lost or Stolen Driving Licence
If you have a lost, damaged, destroyed or stolen driving licence you will need to apply for a new one. The process is exactly the same for replacing a driving licence, regardless of why. You may also report or contact the police if you think your licence has been stolen.

You will be required to provide all the information on your driving record including your Driving Licence Number, National Insurance Number, Passport Number and more information listed below.
You’ll also need to be a resident of Great Britain, not disqualified from driving for any reason and £64.00 which must be paid by Mastercard, Visa, or debit or credit card.
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) will use your passport photo for your new driving licence if you have a valid UK passport and up-to-date photo.
What is required to apply for a replacement driving license:
• Your Name, address, date of birth and country of birth
• Addresses across the last three years/ current address
• Driver number
• Telephone number, birth surname, mother’s maiden name, place of birth
• National Insurance number
• Passport number
If you have lived at your current address for less than three years, you will need to provide past addresses covering the last three years.
